POPEYE MOVIE

Popeye movie is soon to be started for development by the famous cartoon director, Avi Arad. Mike Jones is hired for doing the script of this Popeye movie and well, he is expected to be doing some amazing work this time. The best part of the Popeye Movie is that the master creators of 3D technology would release it in a 3D effect, which is Sony. Sony has promised that they would develop this Popeye the Movie in CGI 3D format. As per the story or the plot of this Popeye cartoon movie, the creators have not revealed anything yet about it. Popeye the Movie remains untitled till now as the creators are presently working on the Smurfs movie. After this, Popeye the movie would be started for being worked upon. The cast and the crew is the same as the Popeye cartoon that is, Olive Oyl would be present who is the girlfriend and love interest of Popeyes. Also there would be Swee’pea who is the adopted son of Popeyes. J. Wellington Wimpy will for sure show his presence in this Popeye the movie who is a very good friend of Popeyes and always helps and saves him from Bluto. Bluto of course would be present in the Popeye movie and would make sure that he creates some more hurdles for Popeye the Sailor. Avi Arad, the director has mentioned that in this Popeye the movie, he would be focusing his works on the strength of the human character and he frailties. Sony Imageworks and Sony Pictures Animation will be the one behind the CGI 3D feature of this Popeye the Sailor cartoon movie. By the month of August in the next year that is, in 2011, the creators, cast and crew of Popeye the Sailor would begin to work on the Popeye movie. Popeye cartoons first movie was released way back in the year 1980 with the main lead Robin Williams acting as the Popeye cartoons character. However, Academy Award was not given to this Popeye cartoons character for his amazing and par excellence work.
