The cartoon that was created as a matter of chance is today standing as one of the biggest hits of the cartoon industry and has spread its roots even in the world of movies, comics, merchandise, music etc. Pink Panther was actually a cartoon that was created by the creator of Bugs Bunny for the opening and closing credit sequence of a movie. Friz Freleng who was called by the director Blake Edwards, of the movie titled The Pink Panther, created the Pink Panther cartoon. Together along with help from Blake Edwards and Hawley Pratt, Friz Freleng created the cartoon character that was initially unnamed in the year 1963. After the movie was released, the paparazzi and the media were publishing the pictures of the Pink Panther cartoon. When Blake Edwards saw the publicity that the unnamed cartoon character was getting, he decided to make a movie as well as a cartoon series entirely on this cartoon character that was pink colored. With this, it was given the name of the Pink Panther and its cartoons were started which can now be seen on the channels like the Boomerang, Animania HD, Hulu, this TV, Voom HD Networks’ MGM HD, Teletoon Retro and even on the Cartoon Network. The Pink Panther has since then appeared in almost 124 episodes of the cartoon series and movies, comics and other advertisements separately. For almost two movies, Rich Little has been the voice for the Pink Panther namely for the Sink Pink and the Pink Ice. For the rest of the episodes, it was Matt Frewer who has done the voice for the Pink Panther cartoon.
