The Soul Eater manga series had started with the all new Soul Eater books and comics released in the year 2003. Written by Atsushi 
Okubo, published by Gangan Comics at the Yen Press, the Soul Eater cartoons kept appearing in the Monthly Shonen Gangan from the 24th of January 2003 and even today, they have been coming in the same magazine. The new Soul Eater comics have released around 17 volumes of its manga series till date and well, there are more in production for the super Soul Eater fans. Seeing the success rate and the number of Soul Eater fans, Takuya Igarashi, the director of the Soul Eater anime, decided to make a television series for the Soul Eater fans where all the production took place at the Bones Studio. On the 7th of April 2008 continuing till the 30th of March 2009 with 51 episodes all in all telecasted on the TV Tokyo channel for the very first time in Japan. Written, directed and produced in Japan, Soul Eaters stands as one of the most popular and favorite Japanese cartoon series, which gained so many fans that it had to be released even in the United States of America, Philippines and India too. The Soul Eater manga is shown to have been taken place at an imaginary place of Death City in Nevada in the United States of America at the Death Weapon Meister Academy. The Soul Eater manga is based on the weapon meisters and their human weapons where the latter is supposed to made into a death scythe so that the head of the academy named as Shinigami or Death can make use of it. For this, the people have to find 99 evil souls of humans and one of the witch in the same order otherwise they will have to start with it all over again.
SOUL EATER GAME
The Soul Eaters gained so much of popularity as a television anime and as the Soul Eater complete series that it had to release its game as well. Square Enix launched an action adventure video game of the Soul Eaters on Wii in the month of September 2008 followed by the Soul Eater game for the Nintendo DS in the month of October, the same year. In the year 2009, January, the Soul Eater PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable were released for the gamers of PlayStation
