THE BATMAN BEGINS

The Batman series was launched on the 11th of September 2004 created by Warner Brothers Animation for a total of 65 episodes. Running for five seasons in the United States of America, The Batman series was telecasted on the Kids’ WB channel. Presently, the Batman series have ended but even today there are people who are mad after the Batman cartoon series. Seeing the kind of madness and the craze for the Batman series, the creators decided to rerun the series on the Boomerang channel from the year 2009. Today, the Batman cartoon stands as the much reputed and wanted by the kiddos and even the teenage boys. The cartoon have made a revolutionary effect on the cartoon industry.

BATMAN BEGINS SEASON 1
The Batman Begins series has been a hit when it had first been telecasted in the month of September 2004. Bruce Wayne is the name of the character who plays Batman and is shown as a 26 years old boy. Batman is basically the saver, protector and the rescuer of the Gotham City. The Batman lives in the secret place of Batcave having a hi-technology based Batmobile and also the new technology that he has created called BatWave. Batman is always truly guided by his butler friend named Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred Pennyworth guides Batman as well as his normal role of Bruce Wayne. Batman is enemies with Chief Angel Rojas who has no space in his heart for vigilantes. On the other hand, Ethan Bennett is the policeman who is of the thought that the Batman is the main requirement of the Gotham City. Ellen Yin is the girl who is actually the partner of the Batman character but she is caught up between her heart and her mind where the former says that Batman would be a good person and the latter says that she should believe in the law and order of the country. In the very first season, Ethan Bennett and Ellen Yin are trying to capture Batman as soon as possible. However, the two do not succeed and by the end of the Batman Begins series, the two of them were now friends with the Begins Batman character. The season one got with it all new villains in the Batman Begins series like The Joker, Catwoman, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Firefly, Bane, Man-Bat, Rupert Thorne, Ventriloquist and Scarface, Bane and even Ron Perlman. There are a hell lot of enemies for Begins Batman character to take care of in almost all the Batman Begins series. Ethan Bennett was changed to become Clayface in the very first season of the Batman Forever series because of the torture and the mutation done to him by the main villain the Joker. At this time, Ellen Yin became good friends with the Begins Batman character as she changed her mind about the Begins Batman character.

BRUCE WAYNE
Bruce Wayne was a boy who was not bothered, carefree, driving his racecar, a bachelor and smart too but when you talk about his Batman avatar. The Batman is very focused about his Dark Knight role, makes his own technologies like that of the Bat-Wave etc, remembers about his parents being killed and therefore, has to take the revenge by killing all the villains of the Gotham City.

BARBARA GORDON
Barbara Gordon, the daughter of the Commissioner of Gotham City is set out to save her father from the hands of the enemy Poison Ivy. Having remembered her first meeting with the Batman, she wears the Batman outfit and tries her best to gain the confidence of the Batman, being unsuccessful most of the time. Finally, Batgirl gets what she wanted because of her stubbornness, strong will and her ironic part. She becomes the secret sharer of the Batman and gains his confidence and his trust in the end.

DICK GRAYSON
Dick Grayson is the Robin character of the Batman series. Dick Grayson’s parents were killed and he joined the existing Batman team with the Batman and the Batgirl together so that he could take revenge from the enemies who had killed his parents. Robin now becomes one of the most reliable persons for the Batman as hes apart from helping Batman in his fights even is his trustworthy friend. In fact, there had been a separate cartoon series which focused on the friendship and the dual action by Batman and his friend, Robin.

Christian Bale who is the star of the Batman movie has been arrested for an assault against his sister Sharon and his mother Jenny. Soon after Christian Bale had attended his premier of the Batman cartoon adapted movie, The Dark Knight, he was surrendered to the police and was arrested. The actor had not accepted any of the claims against him and after a severe questionnaire with him for four hours; he was left on a bail without being charged. Christian Bale had gone to the Dorchester Hotel in London for his relatives and his entire family for the premier of his Batman Begins movie, Dark Knight when they all left in a hurry for their house in Dorset. One of the hotel staff said that there was nothing that happened in the public place but they all left without saying anything. The assault done by Christian Bale came as a shock to everybody around. A controversy just before the Batman cartoon adapted movie can also be for publicity but a cartoon already a hit like Batman Begins, publicity might not be the only thing that they would want. Batman Christian Bale’s mother Jenny is a part time clown and has said that she was pushed over during the row, with which she broke against our Batman hero and charged him of an assault. Batman cartoon movie is expected to be a big hit in spite of all the silly things happening around. This is because much of the fan following around Batman is of the kids, who would not bother to know about the controversies of the actor but are keen about the action and how Batman saves the world from evil.

Batman Begins initially started its publicity with the comic books and soon bi-focused under many new merchandise. Today, we have the Batman Begins television series, the Batman toys, and Batman Begins robots and now there are also the Batman games on almost every platform possible. From the Super Nintendo to Sega Mega Drive, the Game Gear, Xbox, game Cube, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, PC and the Game Boy Color just to count some on the fingers. There are numerous more platforms on which the Batman games have been released. There is the game titled Batman Begins, Batman game: Chaos in Gotham and Batman game: Arkham Asylum. These Batman games have become a hit factor amongst all gamers and are in the market long time from now for the fans.

BATMAN BEGINS SUCCESS
The Batman Begins has been critically analyzed by many of the famous critics and highly praised and acclaimed for its musical score, the script, the artistic display and the way it has been a new imagination, not just a copy of others. Entertainment Weekly ranked the Batman Begins cartoon as the number one television series of the year 1992. Les Daniels who was the writer said that the character of the Batman Begins was coming pretty close to what they had imagined of him whereas the Common Sense Media reviewer, Deidre Sheppard claimed that the Batman cartoon is very violent and the quality is grim. On the good side, the site, IGN.com named the Batman cartoons as the second on the list of the Best Animated Television series of all time. Wizard Magazine also ranked the Batman Begins on number two for the best television series of all time. CarveOnline ranked Batman Begins number two on the list of the top 5 Best Superhero cartoons, where the number one was Superman.

BATMAN DRAWING

Every junior Batman fan till every adult artist, everybody wants to know how to draw the Batman cartoons character in the best way. Here is how.

First of all view the photo of the Batman cartoon character closely and if possible, keep it in front of you while drawing.

Draw a rough sketch of the arms, torso, legs and the head including his cloak a bit lightly.

After completing the basic structure of the Batman cartoon, now is the time to learn how to draw the complete cloak and add more detail to the whole character including the features.

With the cloak, complete the upper part of the legs to add more definition to the Batman cartoon character.

Now sketch the horns of the Batman cartoon character along with the upper part of his head, mask and also the belt of this cartoon character.

Make sure you do not forget even a bit of definition, features and parts of the Batman character and that is why it is better to have a photo in front of you.
