Tom is cat who has access to all the luxuries because he is the pet of a rich house owner and thus, gets good food, a house, etc. Normally, Tom tries his level best to catch the Jerry mouse, but the reason for this is a bit unclear, as Tom never eats Jerry. Sometimes, The Tom & Jerry cartoon has proved their story right when Tom is tries to catch Jerry only out of their sever enmity, to eat other friends of Jerry like the duck, the bird and another mouse, when Jerry irritates Tom by eating his food that he gets because of safeguarding his master’s house or when the master has ordered Tom to catch the mouse and throw it out. Jerry always outshines Jerry because of his quick and spontaneity. The Tom and Gerry cartoon is very funny and comical as Jerry beats Tom being quicker and smarter like when Tom hits hard on a pan or a press while running, when Jerry lights matches on Tom’s tail or toes and lights them and Tom comes to know of it minutes later, when Jerry backfires with Tom’s plans to him, when Jerry hides and quickly rushes to his small house, inaccessible to Tom, when Jerry drinks Tom’s milk or breaks his relationship with the feline cat, Toodle. This is about the time when you see Tom & Gerry fighting away to glory. In some special episodes, Tom and Gerry even bond together to fight some hurdles and make a very strong, interesting and clever, because of whom the third party always loses.

This shows that Tom and Gerry share a love – hate relationship and now just hatred. In this way, the cartoon does not have any bad effects on the children watching it. William Hannah and Joseph Barbara have created many comical scenes where Tom gets cut into pieces due to Jerry’s clever acts, when Jerry tries to ruin what Tom has been assigned to do like taking care of a baby or looking after the house, when Jerry makes Tom fall into trouble etc. almost all the characters in the Tom and jeree do not speak and say what they want to with their eyes and actions. Still, all love this cartoon Tom and jeree. The Tom and jerre cartoon also shows that Jerry has amazing abilities of carrying weights that are ten times more than his weight with relative ease.
