Tom Cruise, the famous Hollywood celebrity was born on the 3rd of July, 1962 in Syracuse, New York, United States. Presently he is into both acting as well as producing but sometime back started his movies after some big struggles through it. His initial wife was Mimi Rogers for 3 years from 1987 to 1990, then Nicole Kidman for as long as 11 years from 1981 to 2001, Penelope Cruz to whom he was not married but a live in relationship for 3 years from 2001 to 2004 and lastly Katie Holmes from 2006 till date but no one knows what he would be up to now.
TOM CRUISE’S LIFE AS A KID
Tom cruise’s mother was Mary Lee working as a special teacher and his father, Thomas Cruise Mapother III who was working as an electrical engineer. Tom Cruise’s paternal surname is Welsh but their great grandfather was Irish but he was the first one to adopt the surname of his step father. His past is mixed with German, English, Irish and now Welsh. Tom Cruise has three more sisters where the eldest one was born in Louisville named Lee Anee, elder sister born in Syracruse named Marian and the younger sister born in Cass so as Tom.
Tom Cruise was granted admission in the Robert Hopkins Public School starting from third standard till fifth standard and then he shifted to the Beacon Hill, Ottawa, and Ontorio as Tom Cruise’s father was to acquire a post in the Canadian Armed Forces. Till sixth standard he was in the Henry Munro Middle School where he had taken an active part in the extracurricular activities like drama, athletics, floor hockey and was mad after playing hockey so much that he used to play it till midnights or even in between, once breaking and chipping his front teeth with it. Then, his interests for the game called British Bull Dog seemed to reach heights where he again broke his new capped tooth and hurt his knee badly. It sounds as if he was a naughty boy as a kid.
The first drama that he participated in which also started his struggle with acting was IT, where he won the title of the co lead with another guy where one was the good guy and the other the evil one. The drama was well accepted by everyone and became a hot topic being talked about everywhere in Ottawa and was also being stationed at the local television station. The two of them were then being asked for doing other roles and at this time, his mother realised his passion for acting and did something to help him. The principal of their school, Jim Brown did not like the whole idea of acting as it was not a part of their religion but his mother took the first step to clear the doubts and convince him for it and thus, allowed him to do more plays and dramas to polish his acting skills. At the age of eleven, Tom Cruise’s mother departed from his father and took the eldest sister, Lee Anne and him with her. They suffered a poverty like experience where again, it was Tom Cruise’s newspaper delivering that helped them earn some money to keep food in their stomach and finally, his mother married a plastic salesman named Jack South. He wanted to be a Catholic priest when he grew up. He also had passion towards football but was debarred from playing when he was caught drinking beer with friends just before the match. Tom Cruise has harsh feelings about his father which is because of what he remembers and recalls of him in his childhood where he used to thrash him up for everything and everything and says that he understood ad a child that his father was a man of chaos who did not men well to him. He was bullied by his father at home and at school by his mates. His acting started when he was stopped from playing wrestling in the school due to his knee injury.
